Lisa has over a decade of experience recruiting in the food and beverage industry specializing in research and development. She has developed an extensive network of business relationships and candidates for companies ranging from small privately held corporations to some of the largest most widely recognized and valued in the industry. She specialize in executive level to entry level candidates in the food industry focusing on R&D, food science, quality assurance, sales, technical services, operations, engineering, marketing, financial services and the culinary field.
Lisa attended undergraduate school at the University of Texas and possesses a BS in Business and Biology and also received her MBA, graduating first in her class. She has certificates in Strategic Human Resource Management, Organizational Development and Financial Analysis and Management. She relocated back to the Chicago area from Austin, TX in 2000. Prior to joining The Myers Group, Inc., she has worked in the fields of biology, finance and law. She is conversational in Italian and Spanish and in her spare time she enjoys travels, scuba diving, kayaking, mountain biking, fine dining and volunteer work. She is an active volunteer for Northern Illinois Food Bank, the local soup kitchen and various community programs.
